I remember being blown away by Clarence Clemons’s exquisite nine minutes of saxophone solo on “Jungleland.” Those early albums of Bruce’s were the best, in my opinion. When Born in the USA came out, I stopped listening because of the political attitudes that started to creep in. I don’t care if he has political viewpoints. What annoys me about him (and any singer) is that just like any other leftist, I don’t want to be lectured to as if he has some kind of moral superiority.
His music was genius and original. Then he got full of himself and began giving HIS opinion.
