TYRANNY IS ANCIENT BUT WE CAN STOP IT IN A FEW SECONDS - HOW?

OUR ATTENTION IS OUR SUPERPOWER

There is so much talk about evil these days. And there is an air of madness - of fear and anger - in the air. There are many - most it seems - whose attention is captured by these.

It is one thing to notice these things happening and yet another to allow them to capture our engaged attention. Things we certainly do not want in our lives seem ever present all around us.

The idea of turning off the TV and growing a garden works for some but for many of us it does not seem possible to turn off all the bad news. For many of us we cannot tolerate the idea of tuning it all out in the face of all the injustice and pain. We want to fight injustice - obliterate it.

After thousands of years of fighting for justice allow me to highlight a different strategy. I didn’t come up with it - it has been taught as a foundation of our culture and religions around the world for eons. And yet we often fail to follow the instructions. This essay discusses that.

It is possible to observe the injustice lavished on us by the so called elites without being sucked into it. But as soon as we allow our emotions of fear and anger to become engaged we are captured - sucked into the proverbial matrix.

Everyone knows evil forces desire to capture our attention. They have been doing this for many thousands of years. They do it with wars, with the antics of their royal families and politicians, with huge architectural destinations like the Roman coliseum, with magnificent cathedrals, with large cities, with emblematic events like the Twin Towers on 9/11. And with events like the horrific Maui fires and the diabolical results of the Covid vaccines.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE HUMAN SIDE? WHY ARE WE DIVIDED WHEN WE ARE ALL ONE?

They capture our attention by staging two sides of a political debate - when in actuality there is only one side - the human side.

But for the evil overlords divide and conquer is the strategy. We the people have never won an election or a war or won anything at all by participating in the political maneuverings offered by the overlords.

They suck us into the matrix or system by capturing our attention through the highjacking of our emotions. We become fearful and angry and then want to get even. But in all the sick demented wars of thousands upon thousands of years no war, no justice, no political side or another has ever led to any sort of better world. Instead we get pulled deeper into the matrix or system.

Because as soon as we allow ourselves to fall into this emotional trap we lose. We become entrapped in an endless feedback loop of injustice. Our most precious commodity - our attention - is successfully captured by the evil overlords.

They trap us into this endless feedback loop which sets us up for even worse negative feedback loops. The more justice we seek - the more endless the arms race, the more brutal the wars, the larger the governments, the more lawyers and bureaucratic professionals, the larger the armies - and voila - the stronger the overlords become.

These evil overlords are voracious and insatiable. I have compared them to parasites. They have big sucking black holes for hearts and minds. More is all they understand. They will live as parasites off the people until the host is dead.

And that is what is happening now. The overlord parasites have lived off the life blood of the people for so long that we as a species now face severe population collapse - maybe even extinction.

So now we the people have a choice. What we decide at this pivotal point will determine whether or not there is a future to be had. Choose war and retribution and the negative feedback loop is further engaged. This feedback loop will cycle faster and faster toward the ultimate horizon of the apocalypse.

We as the people can totally disengage from the insanity. We can withdraw our attention and any emotional engagement from the will of the evil overlords.

We can withdraw our willingness to get sucked in by the fear and anger - and desire for retribution - they try to stimulate.

The evil overlords survive off of our attention. They know we have a weakness for being spellbound by their power and madness. They control us by our own inner tendencies to be fascinated and dazzled by the evil and by the insatiable yearning for power.

The survive and increase their numbers, power and riches by commandeering our attention. They need us far more than we need them. But we remain blind.

We never stop to recognize that we can replace the negative feedback loop with a positive feedback loop of our own. The loop we choose may exclude our participation and deny them our attention.

WE MUST BECOME THE CHANGE WE WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD

Without doing this we remain captured by the evil antics of the elite. It is rather like making a deal with the devil.

Whether consciously or unconsciously - by giving credence to the demonic ploys of the elite and living in their system - we tie our own fate to the demonic.

It means we denigrate any real spiritual teachings like those of Jesus and the other great spiritual teachers of the world. It means we hold whatever creator we imagine did create us in contempt. And in the end it means we hold ourselves in contempt.

This is simple logic - something we see as too simple and too basic to hold true. We spin up elegant long wordy philosophies which help us prove to ourselves we are justified in going along with the system.

But the system is a cult and holds us hostage.

There is an alternative - a positive feedback loop. A feedback loop which allows us to be fully human, compassionate and loving.

One which commands that justice, retribution and vengeance belong to the creator, one that commands us to love our neighbor as ourselves, one that commands us to be fruitful and multiply, one that commands us to be like the lilies of the field, one that commands us to do unto others as we do unto ourselves.

To fight tyranny we have the option of choosing the positive feedback loop of our most precious gift - our attention. To put our love and respect into the things that strengthen the positive feedback loop.

The parasites feed off the negative feedback loop. Bring the negative feedback loop of the cult system to a halt and the parasites will wither and die.

THE STOPPING OF TYRANNY IS A CHOICE

But do we have the will and the intelligence and common sense to do so? Are we one with the right power and spirit? Is it finally possible to see that we are all actually one - that we actually are all in this together?

Either we continue our path of dabbling with the idea - with tiptoeing through the tulips - and in doing so end up right back where we began - or we engage the courage of our convictions and change the SYSTEM.

Love is what heals the world. Love is the truth for anyone who would be a world builder rather than a world destroyer.

We can disengage from fear, suspicion and hatred. We can learn to disengage by loving. Love is the real positive feedback loop.

CONCLUSION

I want to close on a lighter note with a few insights about one of my favorite films viewed during this digitally schizophrenic and mythologically psychopathic Covid era.

This film - Glass Onion - manages to capture some of the most important topics of this essay and exhibits some of the most witty and acerbic social commentary available. But it is the comments on the SYSTEM which I appreciate the most.

• Miles Bron: Let me tell you a little secret. Your worldview is gonna change. Once you hear it, you can't un-hear it. Is your phone turned off?

• Benoit Blanc: Oh, I left it in my room.

• Miles Bron: Okay. If you want to shake things up, you start with something small. You break a norm or an idea or a convention, some little business model, but you go with things that people are kind of tired of anyway. Everybody gets excited because you're busting up something that everyone wanted broken in the first place. That's the infraction point. That's the place where you have to look within yourself, and ask: Am I the kind of person who will keep going? Will you break more things? Break bigger things? Be willing to break the thing that nobody wants you to break? Because at that point, people are not going to be on your side. They're going to call you crazy. They're gonna say you're a bully. They're gonna tell you to stop. Even your partner will say you need to stop. Because as it turns out, nobody wants you to break the system itself. But that is what true disruption is, and that is what unites all of us. We all got to that line, and crossed it.
