I've been struggling to understand how masses of intelligent people can believe the ridiculous things the world accepts as true. For example, that a man can chest-feed a baby, or that people can choose what gender they are, or a female supreme court justice can't (or won't) define what a woman is. I was dumbfounded when I recently went into a world-class hospital and the staff's nametags all include: "My Preferred Pronoun is: ___." How can I respect their professional medical advice when they actively promote this delusion?
But yesterday the Lord led me to 2 Thess 2:10-12, which says God himself is sending this delusion upon the ungodly because they refused to love the truth. In the ESV it reads:
"...they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
So, I no longer struggle to understand the idiotic, suicidal delusion that's casting a spell over the ungodly world around me. It's a sign that we're living in the end-time when evil, violence, idolatry, and sensuality are reaching their peak.
But, on the positive side, while the media won't show it, the faith and purity of godly people is also peaking, and (the back of the book promises that) we shall win in the end.
Just about every mainstream gathering sponsored by the world's elite exhibits this sort of delusional messaging. Check out the Grammys, major sports events, Olympics maybe back to the 1980's - and far far more.

I struggle with my own immense disappointment and then try to consider how some people fall into denial as a sort of mental protection from a reality they cannot cope with. If we turn to the actual teachings of Christ consciousness - we can learn how to overcome our own doubt and pain on this journey.
