Featherless bipeds exist in a social system, an environment. We live on a large planet. Thus the view of the other different from qua truth because the contact with the other is entirely an invention from a social perspective. Just so stories, casual contact creates , the other. Just yesterday I read about a journalist for a TV station dressing as a Catholic priest and walking in the community of Jewish people. Shocking evidence of the rise in the number of attacks on Palestinian Christians by Israeli settlers has been captured on film by an Israeli reporter who went undercover as a priest and walked along the streets of occupied Jerusalem. Channel 13's Yossi Eli wanted to see for himself the spiralling hate crimes against Christians. Within five minutes of setting out with a Franciscan clergyman, Father Alberto, Eli was spat at five times by Jewish Israeli settlers.

The footage of the abuse by the settlers was uploaded by Eli on Twitter along with comments where he dismissed attempts to downplay the spiralling of hate crimes against Christians.

"The justification of some Jewish groups for hate crimes is that they are 'mentally ill'," said Eli. "So no. Our investigation proved that the attacks are really not from the mentally ill, but people with a clear opinion who simply hate something they are not. Brainwash them that Jesus is bad. Young extremists, children, and most sadly soldiers, the 'salt of the earth', express their hatred towards Christianity."

Eli asked what the reaction would be if Jews were spat at instead of Christians. "Just think what the reaction of those Jews would have been if a Christian had spat on them in Europe," he said, adding that being a priest for a day "was very difficult to digest."

Thanks good comment. Yes social engineering for thousands of years results in us being terribly and violently divided. Religion is faithfully used as a major dividing tool. I know many folks who refer to themselves as Christians who actively support gender transitioning for kids.

Unfortunately religion as we know it today often works against any of the philosophy taught by folks like Jesus.

Are you referring to featherless bipeds as humans? LOL.

Aristotle did so first. I like the definition. Though I suspect the Aquatic Ape theory is the reason for no feathers. :)

In these States religion is well embedded in the actually existing social system of in-group thinking. "Orthodox" fragments as every church doctrine is still agreed to by individuals no matter how socially hypnotized. Wrap a great injustice in a cloak of virtue and have "influencers" praise it to the skies which of course is why Nietzsche exposing humbug was dynamite to the foundation of Christian denominations.

The Sopranos - Born To Run reference (with Steve Van Zandt)

Born to Run is one of those perfectly encapsulating of the mid-70s culture in a specific time and place and the United States type of rock songs, that's a hybrid and culmination of everything Springsteen wrote up to that point. In the documentary disc that came with the BTR box set, Springsteen talks about writing it in a notebook, refining each line again and again.

As usual I'm a little lost. Are you the person with all those amazing kids and you live in the hills near Nashville? Ma lived in Dayton, a few glacier swipes to the east of Nashville. I gather we aren't supposed to comment to each other except at the bottoms of articles.

As for suicide machines, yeah I'm with Springsteen and, if that was you, you. If we're talking about how crazy car culture is, but also about its mesmerizing attractive power.
