The Time To Abolish Warfare Has Arrived

THE EARTH ENFOLDED IN ANGEL WINGS

Forward:

I decided to kind of cut to the chase here. It is more than clear we are in desperate straights and there simply isn’t time for delineating all the causes and all the potential paths we could take.

I see so many lamenting about the English or American or Russian or Chinese soul - but it is not a nationally identified soul we need to be concerned with.

National identification is so yesterday - as our problems and issues became those of citizens of planet earth long ago and decisively so with globalization.

We are all victims of our civilization and share similar issues as a result - physical, psychological and spiritual.

And it is not that no civilization is possible or desirable - the problem is the civilization we have so far chosen, built and supported.

There is no time or space here to discuss the way forward other than to cut to the spiritual chase.

Lets just say we are in a race to the finish for our human souls - for understanding these creator-conferred unalienable rights referred to in the American Declaration of Independence - and beyond that to go deeply into our spiritual consciousness - or to identify our lack of such.

Should our own founding ancestors with their brilliant creative minds have understood all this better we may have had a better chance of achieving their laudable goals.

Either we are these living, highly sensitive, conscious beings capable of great creativity and spiritual understanding and practice - or we are not.

This is a spiritual war and will only be survived and won by those who are in touch with their deepest human vulnerability, sensitivity and personal and collective consciousness.

All else is vanity, ego and useless discussion.

Although I am not a particularly practiced Christian and am not limited to appreciating spiritual engagement through one religion I refer to it here as most of the readers here are Christian - as is my culture.

I believe all religions have a core of truth which when appreciated fairly share a similar understanding.

But I also believe it had been a very long time since our civilizations have practiced or appreciated the core beliefs of their religions.

Religion has become a tool of those who use their positions at the top of the hierarchy to better control and gaslight us.

We need now to cut to the proverbial chase and get back to basics.

I believe our great composers are in touch with the voice of God and his angels in a way many of us don’t often hear.

Although none of this information is sufficient it will have to do for now.

THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN

As many of my readers already know I am not a person who believes in coincidences or accidents - I believe that events and people come into our lives as part of the total fabric of our lives.

I believe the times we find ourselves in now gives us the opportunity to actually stop war and prevent the people who wish to promote war from gaining any more agency in our lives.

As we are already well aware war never benefits the people - but only enriches the war promoters - if we can consider eternal damnation enrichment that is.

While indulging in these dangerous thoughts I had some other experiences which faithfully played into them and intensified their power.

I am very fortunate to have the strength of some very strong and creative men in my immediate family - and fortunate that our family has some strong and creative friends - and that we live in these United States which has more strength left in her than we commonly give credit for.

And that our faith in our creator - whom so wisely conferred these unalienable rights at our conception - that at some critical point in time - we might come to appreciate what these really mean.

This is such a time - and the time it is to heed - that while we have not chosen the times - the times have chosen us.

In a strange collusion of events I happened to be speaking to a musical genius - a long time family friend - on the phone about the same time that great musician Dickey Betts must have been dying.

Neither of us knew this event was happening - but there was an uncharacteristically exhausted tone - in his strong voice.

We spoke of prayer and of how the younger generation was now listening to the soundtracks of our own generation - a soundtrack this friend had contributed to with skill and integrity.

“There is nothing else to listen too”, he said wearily.

We spoke of the role of corporations and corruption in shaping American music.

We touched on the importance of seeing that war is abolished.

We reminisced of how our generation tried to stop war and failed.

The exhaustion in his voice grew stronger as he visited the futile days of antiwar fervor our generation had shared.

We hung up with a feeling of many things left unsaid but with a plan of action in place for some younger musicians going forward.

There was so much more to be said.

If I could have finished the conversation I would have discussed the following.

As the founding fathers imagined back in the 18th century it was possible to imagine and to put on paper beautiful plans for a better world.

We are children of the hopes and dreams of our American founding fathers as surely as we breathe air.

Temporarily abolished and broken dreams perhaps - but still shining like that house on the hill - the knowledge that we can - over our own doubt and pain - with the help of God - use the fullness of these times to abolish war and tyranny.

I hear the weariness in men’s voices as they are momentarily overcome by doubt and pain - as all of us are - all too often.

But I hear something else as well - that it is the will of God to see that our warfare is now accomplished - which speaks far louder than the weary and all too vulnerable rhythm of our own voices.

I try to keep in mind that although God speaks in strange ways - that at least he still speaks - and that we can still listen.

Given these brains, eyes, ears and voices that they might be used to honor the creator who furnished them.

BEHOLD, I TELL YOU A MYSTERY

It is the creator and we - these humans which the creator has created - which we need to understand and accept as both our promise and our limitations.

We are part of the great fabric of life on Planet Earth - a vast web of creation.

But we have become distanced and separated from it - gaslighted in our civilizations into believing we are separate from this.

The creator appeals loudly now with a back beat we cannot ignore and with the fateful sound of trumpets as we come to the understanding that all of our warfare is accomplished - our iniquity pardoned.

Yes, the trumpet will sound - not for the doomsday scenario we imagine - but that it will all be changed - in the moment - in the twinkling of an eye.

The answer will be found as always through our biological human resonance which resonates in turn with the voice of God and the universe - and the insistent rhythms of our drums and voices will follow the call of compassionate, loving consciousness.

As we learn to abolish the hatred, the anger, the doubt and pain of the centuries - our warfare is now being accomplished.

Our warfare abolished - in a moment in the twinkling of an eye - by the heavenly hosts who guide our steps - whose voices sound in our ears.

Enfolded in the soft wings of angels we find the courage to rise and go forth.

God gave us these unalienable rights to determine our fates and the fates of our children in coming generations.

We will not - cannot - fail. The time has arrived.

As Thomas Paine once wrote - not an exclusively American cause but the cause of all mankind.

It is our job - as these beings with these unalienable rights - in our darkest times of vulnerability - to keep the faith that God has his own timetable.

If we were not meant to be a part of this - something we believe we would have never consciously chosen - it appears that the universe and these times have chosen us - thus meant to be.

No coincidences or accidents in this meticulously designed and tightly wound place.

We are star seed - part of something so special and so beautiful - we simply cannot know it all - nor should we in our insecurity feel knowing it all would be necessary.

Time to live as humans within the great chain of being we are a part of.

Can we have a civilization based on this?

That question is now being answered by the creator - and the answer won’t be long in coming.

Those of us who survive will be the ones who must live the answer.

The spiritual war is now being won by those who understand the message of the Revelation is that the Kingdom of God is within.

Strengthen the kingdom within and the kingdom without will follow suit.

As above - so below - as within - also without.

Be the change we wish to see - it is the only way to the life we desire.
