Most definitely agree. My reading comprehensions skills are suffering today I'm afraid. Hope fully all those "holes which go all the way through" and interconnect all the worlds religions can be distilled to make sense .Right now we seem at least as divided by religions as we are by philosophy and politics!
We all need to help initiate a time of renewed participation in a truly equitable system of justice for all people. Maybe this will be one outcome of all this historic death, evil and injustice. Sometimes the universe, God or what some consider simply spiritual forces take hold to teach us all what we need to understand. This watershed moments are usually very painful.
Having a strong spiritual understanding is fundamental to the creation of a better world. Christian spirituality - and that of other faiths and beliefs - figure into having the kind of personal and collective strength we need to prevail over this belief in consumerism, and faith in material things such as technology, as success. Clearly our material hell we have built is not success.
One more aspect is the degree to which original spiritual teachings have been appropriated by civilizations and nation states - in conjunction with religions - to manufacture our consent to be governed. We need to make sure our religion does not form us into further needless divisions - encouraged by those who govern us. This is a major problem.
