This Spiritual War Is Recognizable To Us All
Regardless Of How It Appears - The Lessons Are Understandable
THE GREAT SPIRITUAL WAR OF 2024

We might remark - that if everyone is waking up they have a strange way of demonstrating this.
Or - if this is waking up - who needs it!??
Many of us see this as a time of spiritual warfare - and it most certainly is - and yet it doesn’t necessarily conform to our concept of what we believe a spiritual war should look like.
Sometimes it is illustrated in the work of comedy sketches - and sometimes in more traditional spiritual forms.
And yet precisely what makes it a spiritual war are the things I call black mirror reflections taking place in the real world.
These are things we see in the “real” or outer world which seem all wrong - demonic and dystopian and insane.
And they are all of these things - and reflections of a shadowy consciousness - one which flits about the far reaches of our own shared consciousness with the universe.
As I wrote about here previously - it is by learning about Jung and about shamanism - and at the same time understand this Christ-consciousness our culture tries to celebrate - where we may find a lot of help with understanding the character of this war.
These shadowy beings and events represent precisely what we are war with - demonstrating that we have a choice where to put our energy and time - a gift granted by our creator - having given us these unalienable rights, a big brain, a big imagination - and free will.
This choice we have been given causes us no end of difficulty - so much so that there are endless schools of philosophical and religious thought to come to terms with them.
And yet these rigorous schools of thought never satisfy - just lead to more circuitous thinking which land us back where we began.
There is lots of that in our science, technological and philosophical and religious pursuits - and littering the paths of higher education.
I remember being simultaneously disgusted and disappointed by both the Presbyterian church and by the educational system at the age of four.
Last thing we need is four year old dropouts from our cultural systems of spirituality and education.
And that is yet another story but what it begins to illustrate is that our journey here is a test - one which goes way beyond - to conform to the status quo - or as illustrated by these times - to mask or not to mask - to isolate or not to isolate - or to vaccinate or not to vaccinate.
And what a test these past few years have been!
What marks a spiritual war is the degree to which we are being tested - which this certainly qualifies as.
It is a war in which the first inkling that this is a fate filled test of spirit and character - are the ripples of change we feel within.
Our consciousness is changing - individually at first - but inevitably this consciousness expands to initiate change in the the consciousness of others as well.
I see this in action every day - where rigid people begin to soften and change - surprised at first - because it is a huge change.
And the more rigid and inflexible someone has been - the more driven by the cultural zeitgeist - the more difficult it is for them.
Just as it is true for us people who are waking - that we need others who can recognize and support these nascent changes and encourage them - others newly wakening need this from us.
In places where the consciousness of the people remains inflexible - where they prove incapable of facing and defusing inner shadows - the war explodes into actual conflict.
And in places where the tenuous attempts to wake up are met with derision and hatred for past transgressions the war also explodes into actual conflict.
We can never discount the degree to which shadowy forces of fear, anger, and hatred in ourselves contribute to the explosion of conflict in the outer world.
These are examples which demonstrate in the real world that our own consciousness is a force - with lasting and real effects in the universe.
Our consciousness is like an inner force which sends out ripples in four dimensions and which reaps in return precisely what we sow.
Send out compassionate energy and we receive back in the form of a synchronicity of events which seem to work as a sort of magic - a miraculous feedback.
Send out angry, fearful and violent energy and the universe responds in kind - with anger and fear and violence.
There is a reason I have used the figure of Hamlet so much in my writing as the character of Hamlet is one of the great truly tragic figures of modern times - despite his origination in the past of 17th century England.
But although we can perceive many changes since Shakespeare’s time the human mind and consciousness has really not changed fundamentally at all.
It is no accident or coincidence that Hamlet - in Shakespeare’s play - is a confused son of codependent parents who cannot overcome the tyranny of his own emotions.
And in modern times Hamlet becomes fully transformed into the spectacularly violent man child of his angry, hate filled and violent parents in his modern day reincarnation as The Northman.
What we are now discovering - in real time - is the truth of how very violent and dangerous and cruel our cultures are - but more importantly - we are being treated to the comprehensive understanding of how we can change this - by changing ourselves to be the change we wish to see.
By having no fear that those who fail to be capable of this change are on their way out.
Those who cling to their anger and pain and hostility now furnish the means of their own destruction - and as they fade away they cause much Strum and Drang - throwing epic tantrums as they exit.
The spiritual war we fight is currently being fought with full force in both our inner and outer realities.
The toxic narcissist drama queens - those characters who have for millennia occupied the top tiers of the classic dominance hierarchy we call civilizations - are now self destructing in front of us.
As many are expressing we have reached - or are fast approaching - peak insanity.
And this peak insanity is a legendary black mirror event - a very public outing of the inner zeitgeist.
Those shadows which flit about the frontiers - the outer reaches - of our minds - are quite real and inevitably are reflected in our culture.
Truly spiritual quests - are found in the very shamanic far reaches of our religions - out in those shadowy Jungian territories where the real frontier - the wilderness of our own minds - exists.
And those practices - epitomized by one Jesus Christ - where we find the methods by which Rome shut down Christ consciousness - mirrored in the current actions of the evil system - to kill this Christ consciousness - this shamanic engagement with the universe - everywhere.
This precise consciousness - that which is feared - and therefore outlawed - by our cultures - demonstrates to us the precise direction we may follow in becoming instruments of the creator’s peace.
In this Great Spiritual War of 2024 - we see revealed - for all of us to see - the precise and clear directions for how we all - each and every one of us - may exercise these unalienable rights conferred by our creator - to help return the whole world to balance and harmony.
By the time we can observe the extent of the the issues being played out in front of us by a man like Joe Rogan - it is becoming readily apparent to everyone.
The radical idea that we can change our own consciousness and I doing so change the world?
Not a new idea at all - but a lesson the world failed to learn.
For whatever reason - we now are being given the opportunity to act this out in real time.
Whether we posit the intercession of our creator here - or the intercession of some greater consciousness than our own - is not as important as receiving the message - and as seizing the opportunity to remake the world in our compassionate embrace.
Carpe Diem!!
The History Behind Carpe Diem
For those who love history, carpe diem was first used in a poem in "Odes Book I," by the poet Horace in 23 BCE. The quote in Latin is as follows: “Dum loquimur, fugerit invida aetas. Carpe diem; quam minimum credula postero.” Loosely translated, Horace said, "While we’re talking, envious time is fleeing, pluck the day, put no trust in the future." While Williams translated carpe diem as "seize the day," it may not be linguistically accurate. The word "carpe" means to "pluck." So in a literal sense, it means, "to pluck the day."
These things are not always going to be reflected in the manner we would like - sometimes it comes across in distinctly different words than we might prefer.
Such is the way of the world - but regardless of the crudeness of lack of poetry it arrives as - we can respond with compassion and understanding to the most crudely but heartfelt expression with acceptance and respect - we now know who the enemies in this spiritual battle have been revealed to be.
The enemies are not us and never have been - now we can grow up politically to be the changes we wish to see.
Our task now is to let it be - to turn within and heal - to turn without and heal - to heal the four directions in all four dimensions.
Finally in the hands of the ordinary people - is the future of the entire planet.
