Freedom has always exacted a price....Often, from Freedom Fighters.
Sadly, this entire clown show was manipulated on our watch. Our generation watched casually as our exceptionalism was reduced to subservience. It is not the debt of others to pay, it is entirely our debt to pay, for the hope of a free life for our children's children.
Wither on your knees in a pool of warm urine, or go bravely as an intrepid warrior in a pile of your warm brass. This is the time to decide. They are coming for you, your family, your hopes and dreams, your very future. They literally despise your existence.
We have a great deal to add. The hope of the American experiment was once the hope and trust of the world. It will come back into fashion as soon as the world really figures all this out. The cause for freedom is the cause of all humanity. That cause is stronger than a few pedophilic, psychopathic lunatics.
I like Margaret Anna Alice AND I completely disagree with her that this war must focus on defeating the tyrants before we address the pseudoscience of virology & the applied pseudoscience of epidemiology.
I agree with you, KW Norton, that there is a war raging. For now, this isn’t a shooting war. It’s a war between the psychopaths -- who want full control over hearts and minds and bodies and souls -- and the non-psychopaths. The real danger (as I see it) is that the non-psychopaths have been infiltrated by those who are (unwittingly?) advancing the propaganda of the psychopaths.
As an example, how does rejecting virology (because it’s pseudoscience) help the pharmaceutical industry? How does rejecting virology help the doctors & nurses & hospital administrators who are on the front lines committing iatrogenic democide?
I understand your concerns about infighting. I do. It’s just that it’s extremely challenging for me to see those still promoting virology (as true science, yielding true knowledge) as being on the side of the Medical Freedom Movement (that is, being freed from the lies being spread by the pharmaceutical industry) and being on the side of the Truth & Freedom Movement and being on the side of supporting true science & authentic scientific methodologies.
I don’t believe that our souls and our minds and our hearts can be free if we believe lies, if we are deceived. There’s self deception and there’s deception from external sources, usually those who set themselves up as authorities or as arrogant know-it-all’s.
Because we are human we will always have disagreement on various grounds. Heathy societies have healthy ways of working out these inevitable strains. Our society is not healthy therefore no acceptable way of working them out.
But we have lots of time to sort out worries over virology. We have more than enough due diligence proof that many of the tenants of modern medicine are faulty and harmful - like vaccines.
There is lots of infiltration and lots of limited hangouts and double agents here among us. After awhile we get used to this kind of psychological warfare and many of us adapt.
We don't' need experts and know it alls - we need those committed to things which work. To building things with real foundations and engaging in the real due diligence to keep them working.
“We don't need experts and know it alls - we need those committed to things which work. To building things with real foundations and engaging in the real due diligence to keep them working.”
I couldn’t agree more.
Ultimately, we need a new (so-called) “civilization”. This old one, which is hierarchically structured and founded on the Neolithic revolution, favors the creation of pathocracies. I’m a proponent of un-civilizing.
I’m unsure about how to approach a methodology for “what is proven to work”. If the foundation and structure and superstructure of our civilization itself perverts our minds (which would include knowledge and insight into the question “What practically works to destroy pathocracies and what doesn’t?”), I’m reasonably uncertain about local practical solutions which are right in front of us. There’s plenty of theorizing, but little in terms of (common sense) practicality based on common ground and common knowledge.
(Or maybe I’m blind and deaf and without understanding. I very well could be.)
Thanks for the response. I realize that you have a life. The gift of your time is precious. Thanks for sharing your time with me.
Thanks for the comment and you are welcome to this discussion. We all feel a bit blind and deaf in the midst of this. The true cost of tyranny - besides our lives - is the way it saps our personal strength.
Delighted to see you resonate as much with that term as I do, and I love your proposed new title of your Substack!
I find saying I’m an Apocaloptimist much simpler than explaining I am a practitioner of the Stockdale Paradox and Confront the Brutal Facts as I did in this piece:
Onward, Christian soldiers, Onward, as to war
With the Cross of Jesus, going on before.........

"God Loves Liberty!"
The Earth and even the solar system will be OK with us, or without us.
I feel that we do have something to add, besides beheading the 'elites.'
God Bless America!

The rest is vanity.

“The end of the human race will be that it will eventually die of civilisation.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson, quoted here https://dark-mountain.net/about/manifesto/
By the way, Paul Kingsnorth, one of the authors of the Dark Mountain Manifesto has a really decent Substack called The Abbey of Misrule.
Will check it out thanks. Above all we need things which are proven to work - locally and right in front of us.

I’m simply grateful for the blessing of trusting that I have an inheritance in the heavenly new Jerusalem.
ApocalOptimist. A word worth putting out there. A new word. A strong word. A vital word.
Thanks so much. I do think it is a great word. I am hoping it can help overcome some of the extreme pessimism out there.

Excellent comment thank you! Not only are we fellow apocaloptimists but we definitely belong to the same karass.
