A day after publishing this I found yet another contemporary example of how wounded we all have become by living in a toxic culture - it stands as a sort of bookend to Baez’s legacy.
It started on Urhet's commentary about Tucker Carlson being a Putin stooge, wherein I posted Tuckers exact words and a vidoe of him saying the it.
Then he claimed that Tucker said UFOs are actually demons, I again published a video of what Tucker had said, which was actually that he did not know for sure what UFO's were and that they could be anything from spacecraft to interdimensional beings of some sort...
Then I said that I always figured him for a Communist as he was always defending Communist China, noting his Chinese wife. That is one of the reasons he holds Epoch News in contempt, for their anti-communist stance. Uret claims the Chinese Uyghurs are traitors to China.
So I nailed him to his own cross on that one. I figure the last one is what flipped his wig.
Yes, those who defend China in the current incarnation are not being realistic. A gigantic ego does not help either. I have left great comments for them and never a recognition for my time or trouble. "May we live in interesting times."
Yea, Ehret thinks he is the smartest kid on the block and illuminates his hubris in doing so.
So much of his stuff is so far out it seems like in. His treatise on Isaac Newton being a fake is really totally nuts, a bizarre convoluted conspiracy theory. I say that being a hardened conspircy theorist myself.
Just yesterday I was talking with Courageous Lion and he said if every car had a bumper sticker that said "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You" we would not be having these troubles (if we meant it).
Paradise on Earth would presumably one in which we were free of institutionalized violence. No system can insure total peace and safety. But there are parameters of logic, reason and feeling. Presumably "we all" are the creator created human species and the creator created earth.
KW, your post, The Great Chain of Being and Becoming, which captures the poignant truth that we are the creators of the reality we live in, that we are the dreamers of this nightmare and that it is only by changing our internal map, our internal world will be change the external world. Your post has encouraged me to post more on the Luminous Warrior, the archetype that has no enemies because he or she has brought death to fear and to the terrible things that have happened to us through the power of forgiveness, gratitude and love. And of course, that is the message of Christ who came to write those laws upon our hearts. You are right. It is about the heart.
